BOOK PUBLISHING EVENT 1 AUGUST 2022

On the 30th of July a special event was held at the renowned Zevenwacht Wine Estate, situated on the outskirts of Cape Town, to celebrate the publication of author Ina Brink’s debut novel, Defeated by Justice.

Situated in an old manor house that overlooks a rolling lawn and beautiful pond, framed by vineyards, the restaurant and surrounds would provide the perfect backdrop for a memorable evening that was thoroughly enjoyed by all that attended.

Invitees included close friends and family, whom on arrival were treated with gift bags that included a first edition print copy of the novel and promotional material.

After a short but sincere speech by the author, which concluded the formalities, guests sat down to a beautifully prepared three-course meal that was accompanied by some of the best wines on offer in South Africa. It was a fitting celebration, for a wonderful accomplishment, at a beautiful venue.In the words of the author:The publication of this book was the culmination of a fifteen-year process, but I view tonight’s celebration as the closing of this chapter. I am already in process with my next novel, so I hope to see you all around this tablesoon again!
